International Coatings Co., Cerritos, Calif., recently introduced its newly formulated 7031 Ultra White ink.
The ink was completely redesigned and contains non-phthalate materials to meet a list of exacting standards. It offers exceptional brightness, super-soft feel, excellent opacity, is very creamy and short-bodied and is one of the highest-performing whites in the market, according to the company. It also features a matte finish.
“We redesigned the 7031 Ultra White based on what our customers have told us they want in a white ink,” said Steve Kahane, president of International Coatings. “We’ve worked hard to meet certain core characteristics that customers expect from a superior white ink: high optical brightness, excellent coverage, fast flash, and ease of printability.”
International Coatings’ 7031 Ultra White has moderate bleed resistance, can be used as an underbase or highlight white and can be printed through mesh counts of up to 230, according to the company. The ink is available through the company’s exclusive network of distributors.
