GSG Offers New Special-Effects Ink System

July 17, 2014

GSG, Dallas, is offering Wilflex Infinite FX, a new special-effects system.

With only a few special bases, the program gives users the ability to create a wide range of looks, textures and effects, according to the company.

Bases can be used individually, in combination, or mixed with pigments, glitters, shimmers or other additives for a host of effects. Key bases in the program include brittle, cork, fashion soft, suede, plush, rock and non-phthalate plastisol puff.

Two clear formulations also are offered: one to give the appearance of glass, gel, or water, and one for high-definition graphics. There also is a base for sculpture-like effects.

Bases can be layered or intermixed in various combinations and ratios to create specialty bases. The characteristics of individual bases enhance the effects of other bases when combined, enabling users to create their own unique library of special-effect offerings and custom specialty print portfolios for their customers, according to the company.
