Screen Printing with Jon Contino and American Icon from Art Directors Club on Vimeo.
American Icon Screen Printing, Newburgh, N.Y., recently partnered with the Art Directors Club (ADC), serving as its preferred vendor for apparel printing.
ADC is an association that works to fund programs that connect, provoke and elevate creative professionals around the world. As a result of the partnership, American Icon Screen Printing has developed a relationship with independent designer Jon Contino.
The above video features the company’s first project with Contino, which included two different shirts for the ADC’s 92nd annual awards in Miami. To create these shirt designs, American Icon Screen Printing ran a pigmented discharge print on 100% cotton shirts from Canvas and Next Level.
American Icon Screen Printing is a full-service, multi-automatic screen printing press apparel printer. Co-owners Andy Camay and Rob Kucarek launched the company eight years ago with a manual press. Today, the company operates three automatic presses and a full staff.
