Swago Custom Apparel Launches Pocket Shirt Brand

October 17, 2014

Swago Custom Apparel, Hallandale, Fla., has launched its own pocket shirt brand, The Mecky Tee.

“Inspired by the popular modern southern preppy lifestyle look, the pocket tee is an essential piece in everyone’s casual wardrobe,” says Swago CEO Jonny Lieberbaum. “We created the Mecky pocket tee line because we felt it was a unique item that would appeal to many of our current and future clients, and it gives us the freedom to make it customizable with limitless color/fabric combinations.”

So far, Swago has secured orders from both the Surf Style and Tyler’s of Austin chains, Audi of America, Hotel Indigo and various summer camps. In addition, Mecky Tees have been in high demand among Swago’s core clients, which include some of the biggest bars and restaurants in resort hotspots throughout Florida, Jamaica and the Virgin Islands, according to the company.

The Mecky Tee pocket T-shirt mixes more than 20 garment colors with more than 55 juxtaposing pocket fabrics from complementary patterns to create hip, fashion-forward combinations, according to the company. All garments are 100% ring-spun cotton and are available in crew-neck and V-neck tees, and tank tops, in both men’s and ladies sizing and cuts. Mecky Tees can be shipped tag-free or with a customized-branded neck label, made in house at Swago’s own printing factory.
