Roland DG Corp., Hamamatsu, Japan, has announced the election of Eli Keersmaekers as executive officer, reporting to the board of directors.
Keersmaekers will continue to serve as president of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), reporting to Group HQ, as well as CEO of Roland DG Benelux N.V. In his new role, Keersmaekers will be responsible for sales of all Roland DG products throughout the EMEA region.
The announcement comes as Roland DG continues to execute its GlobalOne plan designed to strengthen the corporation’s leadership positions in the markets it serves around the world.
Keersmaekers joined DG Benelux N.V. in 2002 as CFO. In 2006, he was named CEO and joined the Roland DG senior executive committee. In 2013, he was appointed president of the EMEA region. He previously served as chairman of the European executive committee and, more recently, as chairman of the international marketing committee.
