A4 Goes Green with Recycled Polyester
A4, manufacturer of premium sportswear and team uniforms, is now making all its most popular apparel, and the vast majority of its line, with recycled polyester.
FULL STORYPolyOne Corp., Cleveland, has acquired Rutland Holding Co., expanding the company’s portfolio of specialty color, additives and ink solutions.
Headquartered in Pineville, N.C., Rutland specializes in customized formulations for consumer applications and is widely recognized as an industry leader in screen printing inks for the apparel market, according to the company.
Rutland has global sales and operations and goes to market with brand names, including Rutland, PRINTOP, QCM and Union Ink. PolyOne plans to continue marketing with these brands, as well as its own Wilflex products, based on customer specification and preference.
