PPEF Announces 2015 Scholarship Winners

Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF), Irving, Texas, recently announced 106 winners of $150,000 in academic scholarships. 



PPEF has awarded more than $1.4 million in financial assistance to 879 recipients since 1989.

Scholarships were awarded to outstanding promotional products industry employees or their children — 77 new applicants and 29 renewals — who displayed remarkable academic achievement, extracurricular participation and community service. Each will be awarded between $1,000 and $5,000 to support their college educations.


“For the second year in a row, the PPEF Board has increased the scholarship awards by $25,000,” says Sara Besly, PPEF manager. “Awarding $150,000 is a testament to the wonderful, generous companies and individuals who are giving back to the industry through their support of PPEF. PPEF is also increasing support for students demonstrating financial need. Starting this year, recipients of four-year need-based scholarships will receive $8,000 over four years and recipients of one-year need-based scholarships will receive $2,000. Our goal is to provide more assistance to those who need it most.”



Funded by Promotional Products Association Intl. (PPAI) and donations from the promotional products industry, the scholarship program enables youth and professionals to continue their education on a collegiate level.
