Melco, Denver, has launched DesignShop V10.
The new digitizing software boasts outstanding vector compatibility and 25 premium embroidery fonts, according to the company.
When a vector graphic is loaded into DesignShop V10, a raster preview automatically is generated. This enables users to re-create the exact look and style of the design, including blends or gradients.
Each of the 25 font types was selected based on industry demand, according to the company. They are real embroidery fonts, not individual characters that require sizing, placement, kerning and spacing adjustments. In addition to standard alphabet characters in upper and lowercase, these fonts contain numbers, symbols and Euro characters.
Additionally, the software is compatible with current EPS files and backwards compatible with older EPS files. DesignShop V10 also features new file support that is compatible with ART and EMB files, updated thread charts, and it is fully compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
