GSG Announces February Classes

GSG, Dallas, has announced the February 2017 schedule for its educational classes, which are part of its GSG U program.

The class schedule is as follows:

Feb. 2-3
Wrap Installation, Dallas
Get started in the vehicle-wrap market with this two-day class taught by Jeff Wagner, a 3M-certified installer. Experience hands-on training in auto graphics installation, as well as window, wall, reflective and floor graphics. Class tuition includes lunch both days and a free wrap tool kit.

Feb. 14
Embroidery Basics, Oklahoma City, Okla.
Learn the appropriate needles and stabilizers to use with the most popular fabrics and how to hoop garments for the best results. This class is packed with tips and techniques for thread selection, appliqués and pricing.


Feb. 17
Heat-Transfer Materials, Oklahoma City, Okla.
Learn everything you need to know about how to use heat-transfer films. This course discusses the differences among materials, including which film to use with any type of garment, as well as application instructions.

Feb. 23
Screen Print Basics, Dallas
This full-day course explains the art of screen printing from start to finish. Learn how to select inks based on garment type, press setup and breakdown, and a range of other printing techniques. Taught by specialist Mark Suhadolnik, this class includes lunch and a starter sample kit. — J.L.
