ColDesi Inc. and Pantograms, both based in Tampa, Fla., recently announced they will merge their organizations.

ColDesi was started to service the commercial embroidery market more than 19 years ago by Scott Colman and has expanded into providing machinery for direct-to-garment (DTG) printing and commercial rhinestones.

Since it’s inception, ColDesi also has established online training, advanced technical support and service, and brought several more new products to the market.

“Our goal is to have the absolute best training and support system available anywhere in any industry.” says Scott Colman, president, ColDesi. “And our measure of success in this area will not stop or be compared to any industry standard; it will be infinite.”

The Pantograms brand, founded 48 years ago by John Colman, sells single-head embroidery machines and digitizing software. In recent years, the company developed the Digital HeatFX brand of custom heat-transfer systems, becoming a leading distributor for the OKI brand of white toner printers.

Management of both companies recently hosted a Facebook Live event to announce the news to Pantograms customers and answer questions.

The merger of the two brands is ongoing and is expected to bring multiple advantages to their respective customers. Bryan Hall, client support manager for the ColDesi brands, said he expects customers to benefit from “new faces with new ideas, more combined experience, access to additional equipment and education, and an increase in efficiency and synergy.”
