CafePress Inc., Louisville, Ky., recently launched EverythingGear.com.
EverythingGear.com lets users instantly create a customized webpage with products bearing their names, which they can then share with family and friends via a custom URL.
There are two methods shoppers can use to create their personalized design site. Users can either insert a word/name into the EverthingGear.com homepage prompt, or replace the “insertname” with their name in the URL — for example: www.everythinggear.com/insertname-store — and paste it into a browser.
This model removes the creative barrier that people may experience when it comes to creating products by providing a multitude of design aesthetic options, and removes the frustration of finding apparel and products that showcase unique or uniquely spelled names, according to the company.
The list of design categories offered includes: family reunion, hobbies, Christmas/holiday, food and drink, humor, birthday, college, scary, ethnic pride, romance, cars and trucks, animals, occupations, kid stuff, political and sports.
