DuPont Advanced Printing, Wilmington, Del., recently launched the DuPont Artistri Xite S1500 dye-sublimation ink.
The ink is available for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and printers. It is intended to work with coated dye-sublimation papers and is applicable for garment decoration, fast fashion/couture, point-of-purchase signage and trade show booth construction, according to the company.
“Artistri Xite S1500 achieves exceptional color standards with deep, rich blacks and outstanding color saturation,” says Ken Hogrefe, technical marketing manager, DuPont Advanced Printing. “It also offers excellent jetting characteristics, which means less cleaning and ink waste, lower down time on press and a more trouble-free workflow. The quality control and manufacturing expertise from DuPont ensures that the ink the user purchases will be consistent and predictable batch-to-batch.”.
