Hotronix, Carmichaels, Pa., has introduced a new cap heat press.
The press features a patented magnetic lock-down and smooth-shock opening that automatically opens when the timer goes off, allowing users to multitask and eliminating the risk of over- or under-application.
An LED screen on the control panel displays the time, temperature and pressure settings for each application, and a hold-down device secures the cap and creates a smooth surface. There also are four optional lower platens that ensure a snug fit for any size cap, according to the company. These interchangeable platens use a pin-registration system, which makes it easy to switch them out.
All Hotronix presses come with a lifetime warranty on heating platens.
